For a course I am researching the market place size of unexpected emergency preparedness. I have searched the internet and could not discover anything, possibly I Am seeking in the mistaken places. Do you have any information on the industry dimensions in profits per year? Thanks!

I know this is going to sound really weird, but I was reading a Yahoo news story recently about Americans’ lack of preparedness for major disasters, and it gave tips on supplies to keep on hand, including food and water. I know this might sound really cra zy, but if the worst-case scenario should leave people without safe water supplies, is it safe to drink water collected from a dehumidifier? I’ve had one on hand since plumbing problems awhile back flooded my basement.

When the proof is all over the internet?

Maine Senator Collins, the supposedly moderate Republican who demanded cuts in health care spending in exchange for her support of a watered-down version of the stimulus, fumed about the pandemic funding: “Does it belong in this bill? Should we have $870 million in this bill No, we should not.”

Even now, Collins continues to use her official website to highlight the fact that she led the fight to strip the pandemic preparedness money out of the Senate’s version of the stimulus measure.

I’m planning on putting together an herb garden for my girlfriend as a surprise. Along with tradition herbs, such as cilantro, basil, etc, I’m hoping to add in some medicinal herbs that will grow well in Phoenix.

She’s really into this sort of stuff and I honestly know nothing about it.

Can you help me with a list some popular herbs one might grow?

The Latter Day Saint religion request that you have an emergency preparedness storage in which you have supplies such as food, flash light and so forth, but the problem I am having is trying to find the right things. For example I am trying to save up on shampoo’s, conditioner’s, body soaps, etc… and I don’t exactly know how much of each I would need in year, could any one help me out with this problem, and tell me where I can find a calculator to calculate it?

When browsing the store for plant seeds I notice some seeds from plants that do not seem to produce seeds. An example would be carrots but I am sure there are many more.

My sister is scheduled for surgery on June 2 and she has 2 brain tumors and one is pressing against the brain causing her motor skills to deteriorate. She has had a very serious surgery before where part of her jawbone had to be removed. What are her chances of survival to have this brain tumor removed?

Just had a friend tell me that his grandfather still has his officer papers from world war 2. He said that on the papers the average survival time of an officer in a battle was about 1:30 seconds. I was wondering if there was some truth to this and if so then what would be the average survival time of a soldier in battle.

I’d like to know what the difference is between seeds directly from a fruit or vegetable and commercial seeds. How and does this difference affect growing seeds?

  • ashley camper says:

I am eating these big black grapes with seeds in them. I choose to eat the seeds because my mom does the same and also because she claims that it is healthy to eat them. Is there any truth to this? Are the seeds of grapes really inedible like the seeds of an apple? Thanks.

I am preparing an assignment preparing individuals with disabilities for flood safety. We would like to propose a hypothetical emergency preparedness ‘kit’, including emergency numbers, a bottle of water, etc.

What do you think should be in it?

Everyone knows that in the winter all of the nature is deadand that makes me very sad. So i decided to grow some seeds in my room but there is a problem. I planted about 80 seeds in wet cotton but there is a problem. Only 5 of them have made little roots and the others haven’t changed a bit. I want to know how to make the other seeds to grow as well. Please tell me!
