My opinion is that for things like this you should stay simple. No weights, aiming systems, or any of the other doo-dads and gimmicks I’ve seen added to these things. This one is simple, straightforward, and easy to use. This is a great toy, but one for a mature kid; I’d say 11+.

My son, 9, couldn’t really pull this thing back far enough to make it work to its full potential. He just didn’t have the arm strength. Therefore, his interest in it waned very quickly, despite demonstrations by his old man about what it could do to helpless aluminum soda cans and the odd egg borrowed from Mom’s fridge.

This is a winner, a handy little tool to keep handy for the squirrels, and something to play with when bored.

I bought this slingshot for myself, just to shoot random targets (No animals). The slingshot is that of a classic design but it uses very strong, durable materials. I don’t see this slingshot breaking for years if at all.

The day it arrived I took it out to the backyard to try it out. After forty or so shots the shot pouch tore in half. But for the twenty minutes of use before it broke, it was pretty effective.

Does anyone know the approximate cost for tempered glass and steel window frames for the standard bedroom window?
I’m not really going to buy tempered glass and steel window frames, but I need an estimated price range for a speech I’m doing. Pretty much, zombie-proofing a house requires tempered glass windows and steel frames. I only need the approximate cost for one window.
