The photo voltaic oven is likely to be made out of a pizza box and we only have a class time period to do it.

    Thank you!

I am making a solar oven. The kind with a big cardboard box outside and a smaller cardboard box inside. Usually, people put a bunch of paper shredding or newspaper in between the boxes for insulation. I don’t have 40 pounds of paper to use but I do have some yellow fiberglass insulation left. Is it safe to use this?

I want to help my daughter build a solar oven for her science fair in a week…I’d like to use glass for the window instead of plastic. Any tips on building one that will really work? Which design would work the best to bake?
    Thanks in advance!

My teacher Mrs.French told me to find a reason why the solar oven works and a pro language. If you know a link tell me!

By the way, the solar oven I’m doing is the pizza box one!

We are building a solar oven and using a heat lamp to power it. We are cooking a pancake and we tested it with a chocolate bar. It works perfect but so far we haven’t been able to find how to describe the transfer of heat/radiation using the particle theory.
    Thanks

I need to make a passive solar oven for my chemistry lab [CHM 151] using household products. We get extra credit if we make the best one. I really need this extra credit because I suck at chemistry! I was thinking of using a pizza box and foil. The goal is to boil water as fast as we can in an hour.

Best refs I know for building solar ovens are;Book heavens flame-and barbra kerr’s web site-search term through the wall solar oven.Fibre glass batt and old aucoustic tiles(plastic removed) have being used for insulating thes cookers,a metal inner liner well sealed will keep the fibre out of the food.
